The Huck cancer foundation is a non-profit organisation set up to raise funds for cancer charities in both the U.k. and France.
the foundation was formed in 2008 after I spent the 2007/08 winter season in Courchevel whilst undergoing chemotherapy and treatment for skin cancer in the chambery hospital. the hope was to raise a hundred euros or so as a way of saying 'thank you' to the hospital for agreeing to treat me which allowed me to continue working in the alps for the winter.
in 2018 the foundation is celebrating its 10th anniversary and has raised just over €100,000 which has been split between Macmillan cancer support and the centre hospitaliser in chambery. for the upcoming winter and to help reach a wider audience we have decided to split the proceeds between macmillan cancer support and the ligue contre le cancer
your continued support enables us to raise more money to help these fantastic causes.
thank you for visiting,
